Making Money From Investments Through The Kampung Way - Kampung Investor Dot Com

After a long lay off from purchasing any shares, i made a decision to buy in on GOPENG (2135) which is listen on the main board. Gopeng is involved in the industrial products sector.

Once again i picked my stocks according to those simple fundamental understanding about the company.

Before going deeper on those simple reasons, let’s have a look at GOPENG’s financial summary :-

Fundamental reasons why i picked on Gopeng :-

Gopeng last few quarters performance has been superb. The last quarter, Gopeng’s EPS stood at 5.54sen.

Gopeng accumulative EPS for the first 3Q is 14.51sen.

Taking the lastest accumulative EPS at 14.51sen, the projected EPS for Gopeng for the 4Q will be around :-

14.51/3 = 4.84sen
One year 4Q, 4.84×4 = 19.36sen
We assume Gopeng’s Total EPS will be around 17sen

At the price that i enter Gopeng at 77.5sen, the PE for Gopeng will be roundly around :-

77.5/17 = 4.56!!

As you can see, Gopeng has an estimated PE of less then 5! It is surely a gem in the making. With a super pass earning record and low PE, what else can we ask for on Gopeng?

I have bought in 2500 shares of Gopeng at the price of 77.5sen. As usual, we usually walk the talk :-

Conclusion

Gopeng is surely a gem. What GOpeng needs now is time. When market is bad, how solid or fundamental your stock is, it will surely get wet when it rains.

Of course when it rains and if you buy those lousy and no fundamental stock, it will dive faster and deeper. When buying in fundamental stocks or company, we can sleep well at night without needing to worry so much.
