Genting SP - I will subscribe the rights issue

Genting Singapore latest announcement of every 5 shares able to buy 1 share will be a good opportunity for me to add on to my number of Genting Singapore shares.

From my earlier post of Genting SP taking a walk downhill, i practically had 10000 Genting Singapore shares at the average price of $0.705

I did made another 2 round of purchases earlier on Genting Singapore at:-

2000 shares : $0.90
2000 shares : $1.13

This brings my total of Genting Singapore shares to 14000.

My latest (17/09/2009) Genting Singapore average price :-

$(2000 x 0.9 + 1.13 x 2000) = $4060

$(0.705×10000 + 4060) = $11110

Average price for my Genting Singapore = $11110/14000 = $0.794

From the previous post, the ex date to purchase the rights issue will be 2 days away from now. I will be thinking hard whether to top up on the number of shares that i have for Genting Singapore.

With 14000 shares, i am entitles to get to subscribe 2800 shares at the price of $0.8

I will surely take up all the 2800 shares but will it only be 2800 rights issues or more? These two days will determine my faith. Stay tune!
