EPF declares 4.5% dividend - We can do better

Written on March 17, 2009 – 1:41 am | by Kampung Boy |

Most Malaysians must be very pissed learning that EPF will only pay a mere 4.5% dividend for it’s members despite recording its highest ever earnings of RM20bil in gross income last year, up 9.36% from the RM18.29bil recorded previously.

Meanwhile, Amanah Saham Nasional, ASN is distributing 6.5% to it’s members which is comparatively 2% higher compared to EPF.

Now, most Malaysians are wondering  where has their hard earned money gone to? Not only that, there’s no transparency by EPF in showing to Malaysians where their blood and sweat has gone to.

I am making a guess here that EPF is using the money to support the local KLSE (Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange) from further bleeding and destruction.

With only a chicken feet 4.5% dividend from EPF, I am pretty sure most Malaysians will do even better if they are given the rights on their EPF money. Shame on you EPF…
