Credit card fraud prevention method

Credit card fraud is rampant all over the world. Without doubt, Malaysia has one of the highest credit card fraud cases in the world.

Below are few methods that we can take to prevent credit card fraud from happening :-

Always treat your cards like cash.
When making a purchase, ensure the transaction is processed in your presence.
Should your card be lost or stolen, or if unfamiliar transactions are posted on your statement, inform your bank immediately.
Never allow anyone else to use your card.
Notify your bank if anyone else is using your card.
Notify your bank if any change of address, so new cards are not sent to an old mailing address.
Never leave your expired cards lying around. Cut it!
Never write your personal identification number (PIN) on your credit card.
Inform your bank when you are traveling overseas.
