Bought 30000 shares of SCOMI-LA
I made an earlier post on the profile of SCOMI-LA (7158LA) for some simple understanding on what does the loan stock of SCOMI-LA is all about.
Anyway, i have invested 30000 shares of SCOMI-LA at the price of RM0.12 and will be hunting for more if the price is right. 30000 shares of SCOMI-LA does not cost much as it’s only around RM 3600++
In kampung terms, SCOMI (7158) is the mother while SCOMI-LA and SCOMI-WA (7158WA) are the children of SCOMI. Not to forget my earlier stock pick which is SCOMIMR (7045) is also one of SCOMI’s children.
Since i invested on SCOMIMR first, i will say SCOMIMR is the son of SCOMI and SCOMI-LA is the daughter of SCOMI. ^^
For the children to move up, the mother first have to make the first move. The children performances will always depend on the mummy!
Let’s take a look at the financial highlights of Scomi :-
For more then 10Q Scomi is in the green. Never before loose money and with an accumulated EPS of 5.29sen after 3Q. With a forward EPS of around 7sen, this makes Scomi’s PE less then 10 at the current price of 48.5sen.
As you all know, i will only invest in companies that makes money, good future earnings and most importantly low PE. Scomi really fits all the 3 categories.
People will ask, why Scomi-LA and not Scomi? Reason is simple, if Scomi moves the LA and WA tend to move at a much volatile pace. ^^ Picking a good LA and WA is ain’t that hard if you know how to pick it.

Conclusion
If you have patience and holding power, SCOMI-LA is a good place for you to invest. There is no guarantee in any investment you make in the world but i am confident with my method of selecting the stocks i invest on.
Even blogger ck5354 bought in some SCOMI-LA. ck5351 bought 20 lots of Scomi-La at the price of RM0.12 as well.

I just bought the Scomi mother share before the new year at 0.45, I bought 50K lot. Then last week I bought IJMLAND_CA 125K at 0.205. I prefer IJM LAND very much..last year my Ijmland profit reaching 300% when i bought IJMLAND WA at 0.45 then sold it at 1.35..This was the biggest gain in my entire share trading life. I hope IJmland-ca will give me the same result. Happy Investing.

THREE (3)-YEAR 4% IRREDEEMABLE CONVERTIBLE SECURED LOAN STOCKS
Means 4% dividend is given annually?
If i got 1 lot = 1000 shares… how much i got for dividend?

It is called interest and not dividend. Every year you will get 4%.
The par value for Scomi-La is RM 0.10
So if you got 1000 shares you will get RM 4 every year of interest for having 1000 shares.

I tot RM1000 x 4 % = RM40
