GOPENG - Sold all at @0.93 and my ROI beat EPF

GOPENG (2135) is a stock that i bought 2 months ago. If you all still can remember my post was GOPENG - Bought 2500 shares at @0.775.

Yesterday, i sold off all my 2500 shares of GOPENG at the price of RM0.93 with the help of my friend because i couldn’t get online at that time.

Swisscash - Refund for investors

My recent post was about the Latest Scams in Malaysia and one of the mother of all scams in Malaysia, Swisscash will finally refund money to investors.

After more than 3 years of investigation, finally Security Commission (SC) manage to obtain RM31 million from Swisscash investment scam. The money will be used to restitute eligible investors who have suffered losses as a result of the scam.

Latest Scams in Malaysia

People will always look for the fastest and easiest way to make money. So most of the time, they will blindly join any MLM (Multi Level Marketing) or schemes that promises returns that are unimaginable.

Honestly, i myself had been hit with such scams before when the HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) was a hit in Malaysia. I am sure many of you heard before of Studio Traffic and 12 Daily Pro.

From that lesson i gained, i have never trusted anymore MLM or any schemes that promises absurd returns.

Why Malaysians prefer to work in Singapore rather than in Malaysia?

AS1M - Poor response as the government is running dry

Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia (AS1M) is facing poor uptake on its units as poor response is seen on AS1M compared to other trust funds.

Although 244,735 investors have invested amount up to 3.45 billion, it is around 35% of the total fund size which is RM10 billion.

This is the fifth fund launched by PNB after Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB), Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM), Amanah Saham Didik and Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020.

Oh no, another fuel price hike in Malaysia

Consumers, fastened your seat belts as the government will most likely increase our fuel prices over the time as it has been officially announced that the proposed two tier fuel subsidy scheme based on vehicle engine capacity has been scrapped.

The two tier fuel subsidy scheme was originally set to be implemented on May 1, 2010.

EPF declares 5.65% dividend for 2009

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) performed better for 2009 compared to 2008 by declaring a dividend rate of 5.65 dividend rate for financial year ended Dec 31, 2009, up from the 4.5 percent paid out for 2008.

Bleeding badly with SCOMIMR and SCOMI-LA

Digi provides healthy competition for iPhone in Malaysia

Good news for iphone lovers and Digi supporters. Digi will be bringing iPhone to Malaysia! With this, Maxis one year monopoly in the providing iPhone to Malaysian is ending.

Digi strucked a deal with Apple Inc to distribute iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS but which package they will be joining is still not yet disclose.
