I got an extra 200 shares of Genting SP after applying for excess of rights issue the other day. I applied extra 1000 shares and i got 200 shares extra which is 20% of what i applied for.

After the extra 200 shares at $0.80 my total amount of shares of Genting SP has increased to 19000 shares.

My average cost now stood at :-

(18800 + 200)shares = 19000 shares

New average price : $0.8293

Conclusion

I have now collected 19000 shares of Genting SP at the average price of $0.8293 and will be looking forward maybe to another 6000 shares if the price is right. Any of you got any extra from your excess applications?

Island Red Cafe scam and cheat money

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

I told you so. I made a post on Island Red Cafe more like a ponzi to me five months ago to warn investors of not putting money into such Multi Level Marketing (MLM) plans. It is getting more rampant in Malaysia now a days where unscrupulous people try to make easy money from naive Malaysians.

SCOMIMR - Aiyoh I didn’t get what i wanted…

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

A couple of months back, I invested on Scomi Marine Berhad (SCOMIMR). To be exact i bought 3000 shares of SCOMIMR at RM 0.625 on June 9th 2009.

On October 22nd, 2009 i tried to average down my SCOMIMR and ordered 4500 shares at RM 0.585 in the morning trade but sadly i only managed to get 2800 shares after the morning trading session.

Argh… Didn’t get what i wanted for SCOMIMR. Nonetheless i have increased my stake of investment in SCOMIMR.

Current stake and price :-

3000 shares + 2800 shares = 5800 shares
Average Price = (3000×0.625 + 2800×0.585)/5800
= RM 0.606

Proof of my purchase of SCOMIMR is at the below attachment :-

The prospect of oil and gas industry is still bullish and i am confident the oil price will soar again to a higher leve. SCOMIMR is basically an oil and gas company with a good company track record.

Conclusion

I am looking forward to purchasing more of SCOMIMR and this time around i will not let this baby go away again.
