Journey of a Kampung Investor in search of financial freedom
As we know, the recent petrol hike is really killing the moderate income citizens in Malaysia. I am in that bracket. A 41% increase on petrol isn’t really helping. I am sure more Barang Naik will come after this petrol hike.
So i would love to share 5 savvy ways to combat petrol hike.
I would like to apologize to my friends out there for not updating my blog of late. Here are the reasons :-
a] Traveling a lot - My sister has 2 convocations! (One down, one more to go)
b] Streamyx down whenever i want to blog - This happens whenever it rains in my area!
c] Spend a lot of time at the movies (Red Cliff, Wanted, Mummy is out today!)
Streamyx is pissing me off lately with some crap issues which i will share with you all later. Anyhow i hope all is well out there for everybody and have a nice day! 
How you would like a 100 billion Ringgit note? Isn’t that cool to be a billionaire once in a lifetime? Ask the the people of Zimbabwe, suffering from a record 2.2 million % inflation. Gila sia, i couldn’t imagine putting myself into their shoes.
To tackle cash shortages, the Zimbabwean bank introduced 100 billion dollar bank note. This year itself 2008, Zimbabwe have introduced 7 new denominations such as:-
Public Mutual, a wholly own subsidiary of Public Bank will be launching another new fund named - Public Far-East Telco & Infrastructure Fund (PFETIF).
Let me share some basic information about this fund before stating my points of view…
The Dark Night is the latest Batman movie on the big screen. It is a must see. I saw this great movie last Saturday with my dad and sister. Mum wasn’t interested though. She sure regret one lah!
We watched this great movie in GSC and trust me it is a must see. Just couldn’t understand why i had to repeat it again and again that The Dark Night is a must see.
As usual, Batman (Christian Bale) will always be the hero come the end of the movie. Yeah, even my 2 year old cousin knows about that. What really mattered to me was the outstanding performance by the villain, Joker (Heath Ledger) really caught my attention.
I am pretty sure many of us out there owns a Savings Account. It is one of the most basic accounts one can have to create a relationship with a particular bank.
Having a savings account will not be as convenient as having a current account (checking service). To withdraw money from a savings account, we either need to go lineup at the counter (the queue at times might be pain in the ass) or withdraw using ATM card.
Oh yeah, for ATM card service there is a charge of RM 8 annual fees for all banks in Malaysia. No free lunch in this world! Friends from other continents of the world, do you all have to pay for such services from your country? Hope you can share some savings account information with me and my fellow friends.
