Malaysia - Not a good place to invest for foreigners

Written on July 2, 2009 – 8:40 am | by Kampung Boy |

Foreigners are running away from Malaysia. They don’t seem interested to put their money in Malaysia. A drop of more then 90% of direct investment so far this year from January to May 2009.

In 2008, Malaysia had a RM 46 billion foreign direct investment while this 5 months only a mere RM 4.2 billion seen. This is a worrying figure as this shows how strong and capable our economy in facing the global financial problems.

I guess this figures are really sending the shivers down our PM’s (Najib) neck. Najib was “kind” in revoking the 30% equity requirement for bumiputras in public listed companies. Now we know why he has to do that.

To be honest, i think this bold step should have been taken 20 years ago during Mahatir’s time as PM and not only now. Malaysia is taking those foreign investors for a ride. It is just like when the time is good, you forget about us (foreign investors) and now when you are in deep shit, you expect us to come and support you?

Demerol might be the cause of Michael Jaskson’s death

Written on June 26, 2009 – 8:08 pm | by Kampung Boy |

As we all mourned the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, many will be asking about what is the cause of death of Michael Jackson.

Demerol is basically equivalent to morphine. The use of Demerol is to relief moderate severe pain and at times used during a surgical procedure to enhance the effects of the anesthesia.

Demerol is used to provide euphoria making the patient not care about their pain anymore. Patients will essentially get high off the usage of Demerol.

Patients on Demerol for chronic pain often then not become addicted and will require more and more of the drug.

Michael Jackson had been rehearsing hard for a 50 date concert residency at the O2 arena in London starting 13th July 2009. Might be due to the stress and the age of MJ, the overused of Demerol might be the cause of MJ’s sudden death due to cardiac arrest.

We can never question the effort and commitment shown by MJ as he is preparing for his comeback. I am pretty sure MJ wouldn’t want to disappoint his fans for his opening concert in UK.

MJ will be missed as i still remember when i was a 13 year old kid i bought an original cassette of his History Album. I had to save for quite sometime for that History album but i felt happy and satisfied having that album.

Black and white, You are not alone, Earth song, Billy Jean are some of my favorite Michael Jackson’s song. Let’s all hold hand in hand as one to pray for a better world as that is that MJ always wanted. RIP MJ, the one and only King of Pop!

We are the world

Heal the world

Written on June 16, 2009 – 12:32 am | by Kampung Boy |

Technical analysis (TA) is one of the method used to analyze and forecast the movement of stocks using complicated graph or lines. Just a simple introduction of definition of TA.

Remember those graphs that we used to draw in school during our schooling days in SPM? Those exponential and statistical graphs are considered nothing if compared to the TA graphs.

Express bus fares up when oil is cheap

Written on June 10, 2009 – 12:21 am | by Kampung Boy |

Once again, Malaysians are burdened with a massive 30% increase of bus fares nationwide.

The spike in prices was suppose to be one month during last Hari Raya but our caring government didn’t care to revoke the prices. Now, the spike is permanent.

As usual, in Malaysia the first people to make noise when crude oil is up are the business people. Automatically after that, they will increase the prices of goods and foods.
